One of the few things I really enjoy in this 3D matrix world we live in is watching cricket, especially the Twenty20 version of the game, most of all the IPL.
I won't bore anyone with the details, but after skipping a few matches the last two days featured some absolutely scintillating last-ball finishes that were just unbelievable. Just
such great entertainment.
And today the Indian Premier League held another match at Kalkotta's stadium Eden Gardens with Kalkotta Knight Riders hosting the Delhi Capitals.
Meaning that it read KKR vs. DC at Eden Gardens, of course :-)
Delhi won the coin toss and decided to bowl first, thus knowing what target they had to chase later on in the game when it was their turn to hit the ball and score runs. I like that, I always like me a good run chase.
During the first innings a KKR batsman got exactly 11 runs off 11 balls - 11 (11).
And with the next ball he was out :-)
In the second innings DC had to give up two quick wickets, both because Kalkotta's wicket keeper and captain caught the ball. That Captain's name is Dinesh Khartik, and he actually has the name
DK on his jersey :-)
As I'm typing all this
DC just won with a
Maximum hit for 6 runs to take a quite comfortable victory with a few balls to spare, so DC have a good time at
Eden Gardens.
Funny how all of this sometimes works, isn't it ?
I just
love this kind of symbolism and really appreciate being able to witness little things like this.
.
So there. Let's go on a good run chase.

Lots of Love and Light
